Hi, my name is Joe and my eBay user id is morehawes. I have been trading on eBay for over five years now. I have had almost 4000 transactions and managed to pay my way through university by buying and selling electrical items. Over the years I have been awarded with power seller status and run my own shop to build up an excellent reputation. After boring my friends and family of my eBay tales (after a while they knew better to mention eBay whilst around me!) I thought it was about time to share my knowledge of eBay with everyone!
This is NOT a guide of how to get rich, nor do I charge anything for this information. If I knew how to make millions I would have done so by now - this information is a collection of guides, tips and tricks of how to make the most out of buying and selling on eBay. I can not be held responsible for any of this information – eBay is constantly changing and some things may be out of date. Please contact me if you spot any inaccurate information.
I live and mainly trade in the UK so these guides focus on eBay.co.uk. Though most of this information is relevant for all international eBay sites. You may notice that I am not trading at the moment, or only have a few items for sale. This is because I no longer rely on eBay for income and spend my time else where, though I still buy alot!
The guides are broken down into the following sections:
These guides focus on providing information for sellers trading on eBay and range from Paypal issues to how to take the best photo of your item.
These guides deal with common issues when purchasing items through eBay. They give information on what to look out for and what to be wary of.
These guides focus on information that is important for all eBay members, such as registration, spotting spam emails and staying safe.
These pages are under continual development. The lists on the pages above are either guides I have written on intent to write. If there is no link that means the guide has not been written yet. This list is off the top of my head and is not in any way exhaustive. If there is anything you think I have missed, please feel free to contact me.
